Aozaru

The part of Yoko's consciousness that forces her to recognize things about herself, her parents, and her time back in Japan. She converses with him frequently.

Asano

Asano is dating Sugimoto... very odd... but he does seem to fit in at school a bit more than the two of them. He tends to try to be the peace keeper at times between the two girls.

Kourin

A woman with an incredible resemblance to Keiki. She seems to be someone of status directly under the King of Kou. Her bird is far more aggressive than she is and constantly encourages characters to kill the kaikyaku.

Sugimoto

Sugimoto is the outcast from school who is dating Asano. She's a crazy girl, ready to immerse herself in her own fantasy world over the real world, and very slow to trust people. She's also the kind of person who will take what she can get, regardless of how it affects others.

Taiho

A boy living among the Kei refuges. He realizes that the King of Kou must have sealed Keiki because a new woman named Lady Johei has taken the throne.

Yoko Nakajimi

Yoko begins as a very cookie cutter school girl who always needs to do the right thing to make everyone get along. She tries to be everything - popular, good in school, friends with the outcasts - but in the end, isn't all that popular. She also isn't one to take on responsibility if she doesn't have to, and if she's frustrated or scared, she'll declare the situation hopeless and break into tears... However, for the most part, she does try to see the good in people. Her journey now is to find herself.
