A girl huddles with her puppy in the pouring rain when she sees a helicopter flying above. Inside, Bando proclaims it's hunt or be hunted and hops out.
While Nyuu cries by the ocean, Kohta stares at the broken sea shell and tries to come to terms with what just happened. A knock at the door interrupts his thoughts. Two police officers are looking for a missing person and show him a picture of Nyuu. He denies having seen her and as soon as they leave, he grabs his umbrella and heads into the rain looking for her.
Bando and his partner are searching the coast line looking for Lucy. Bando's partner is concerned - if they don't know which type of weapon she uses, how will they be able to defend themselves? Bando doesn't care and demands his partner to quit whining or he'll shoot him now.
Yuka stops by the police station in town and asks about Nyuu, while Kohta spots her on the beach and tries to comfort her. Just as they're about to go home, Bando kicks Kohta in the face and grabs Nyuu. He then takes her to an isolated area and toys with his prey until he gives up. She doesn't seem very vicious, so he allows his partner to shoot.
Yuka finds Kohta lying unconscious on the beach and calls an ambulance while Bando's partner steadies his shot. As Bando lights a cigarette, Lucy emerges (ed. It seems to be that whenever Lucy/Nyuu gets smacked in the head, their alter ego appears) and blows a gaping hole in the man's abdomen. Bando quickly pulls his gun and fires away, but she deflects the bullets easily and walks like a zombie towards him.
Finally, Lucy reveals her secret weapon - she has an extra set of arms that can go Inspector Gadget and wreck havoc. They're transparent and almost look like they're made of a watery or airy substance. I'm also not sure if and/or how people can see them. It didn't seem like the guards from episode 1.
Anyway, with her new set of arms, Lucy knocks off Bando's helmet and starts throwing large objects violently at him. At one point, she picks up a boat, but he shoots it down before she can do much damage.
Crouching behind some crates, Bando laughs to himself - this is fun (in that sick, twisted sense, of course)! Of course, he's not thinking that a few seconds later when Lucy gets her hands on him. She amputates one arm and breaks the other. She then uses her super power arms to drive fingers into Bando's eyes, blinding him, and finally to strangle the creep. All the while, Bando is threatening that he'll never forgive her for his and will kill her eventually.
Suddenly, Lucy grasps her head and screams. The hands disappear and she returns to Nyuu while Bando rolls on the ground pleading for her to finish him now.
The girl with the puppy sees Nyuu run by and heads in the opposition direction back to Bando's bloody body. Upon seeing him, she immediately runs to get an ambulance.
As Kohta recovers in the hospital, the two police officers enter and ask to speak with him alone. Yuka waits outside as he tries to explain he saw soldiers with machine guns. They pretend not to believe him citing biker gang disturbances but ask if there were any witnesses that might have seen something. He mentions there was a girl, and they immediately jump on his case. Was there anything unusual? Did she have horns? When he replies that she was a normal college girl, the police head out of the room.
When Kohta arrives home later that night, Nyuu is waiting for him on the porch. She hands him a peace offering - a sea shell - and he hugs her and happily accepts. Meanwhile, Yuka thinks back to when she and Kohta said goodbye 8 years ago and promised to come back. She then realizes she forgot to give Kohta the house key and heads back.
Back at the Kaede House, Kohta tries to put dry clothes on Nyuu. When Yuka walks in, she spots Kohta in a compromised position with Nyuu and walks out.
At the lab, Kurama decides it's time to use Number 7 - another girl that looks just like Lucy, only completely naked, covered in lots of blood, and chained to the wall.
