Chobits is the story of a boy, Motosuwa Hideki, who goes to Tokyo to study for his entrance exams. At this time, people connect to the internet through robots called Persocons, who look just like women except with different ears. Motosuwa really wants one, but unfortunately doesn't have enough money to buy one. One night, as he is walking home, he finds one lying in a trash pile and decides to take her home. As it turns out, the Persocon he found is special, and may actually be one of the legendary Chobits, specially made persocons that have free will. He names her Chii because that is the only word she can say and begins teaching her about the world.
I've only seen a couple of episodes so far, but I really like what I've seen. It's sort of a romance between the boy and his robot, who acts like a real girl with free will (Blade Runner, right?) but it's a Clamp anime, so I'm curious to see where this goes.
Animation:
My Rating:
I really like the animation style. Everything is so amazingly detailed with lush colors. It tends to be more realistic than a lot.
Music:

I really like the theme songs. Otherwise, very nice sound as well.
Character Design:

From what I've seen, the characters appear to be pretty standard, but still interesting. I like the main characters introduced thus far, although Motosuwa overreacts to most things which may get annoying after awhile... Chii is just cute!
