The Legend goes as follows: Several hundred years ago, Japan was destroyed. Since then, Japan fell into desolation and was ruled by tyrants. Its civilians lived impoverished and hard lives. However, to the delight of the villagers, a set of twins was born. The girl is Sarasa and the boy, Tatara. One of which was prophesied to be the child of destiny, the one who will become the leader who save the country. When the Red King learns of this prophecy, he commands his army to kill Tatara and destroy the village. Not wanting her brother to die in vain, Sarasa, cuts her hair, poses as Tatara and becomes the leader her village desperately needs.

I haven't seen much of this one, so look for updates.

Very interestingly drawn Shoujo in a style you don't see much of today...

It's ok.

I suppose the character relationships are sometimes contrived, but highly entertaining. Yes, there are cross-dressers, forbidden love & a girl who must present herself as a boy...
